Joining the Band
We are always looking for new members. The band provides all uniforms except for the ghillies (performance shoes) and a long sleeve, white, dress shirt. The Band provides band pipe chanters and chanter reeds for pipers and all equipment for drummers.
We usually plan to participate in 3 or 4 competitions per year and play in approximately 6 performances each year.
We generally take a summer break in July, and we also take a break from mid December and return after New Year.
We have several members who can provide private lessons in piping and drumming if you are just learning or want to improve.
